Project Description

In the last years, there was a growing interest in the production of expanded and reticulated articles on the basis of copolymers Ethylene Vinyl Acetate: LEVIREX.
The reasons for this interest are the special characteristics of this material:
– low density (0.1 – 0.5 grcm3), therefore a remarkable lightness of the end-item
– optimal physical-mechanical properties and optimal esthetical and tactile aspect
– important specific structure with closed cells which means a barrier for the proliferation of bacteria and fungus
– Non-toxic and non-polluting in case of disposal due to a good combustion that transforms it in water and carbon dioxide
